Critical Transfer (Meycauayan to Manila)

Case: 37/M, Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome, on mechanical ventilator

This was a scheduled transfer from one ICU to another. Departed hospital 1 at 1830H and arrived at hospital 2 at 1850H, thanks to the sunday traffic. At the receiving hospital, the patient remained in our ambulance while doctors prepared admission to their ICU. During this time, our medical staff remained focused on the patient, troubleshooting IV lines and doing corrections. After more than an hour, ICU admission was secured and the patient was successfully transferred to the ICU facility.
